Competence
The position of the steering wheel can often be changed by
the driver to get an optimal position in connection with the
seat position. This adjustment is usually performed manually
by the driver, who must apply larger forces to move the wheel
in some cases.
The objectiv measurement of this operation is one example
how to use the flexible measurement robotic systems. Forcetravel or torque-angle relationships can be checked when the
robot hand executes a movement while a force-torque-sensor
at the hand capture the forces and torques at this place.
