Cambridge Technology’s FlexScan-3D Modular Systems are application-flexible integrated 3-Axis solutions
for scanning applications demanding excellent large field and 3D processing speed and accuracy in a
compact architecture with industry standard interfaces. The flexibility of the FlexScan-3D System comes
from the configurability, programmability, diffraction-limited spot size and high power laser handling
capability of the Cambridge Technology Post-Objective Scanning (3-Axis) Technology. Leveraging
Cambridge Technology’s best-in-class, patented analog and digital Galvo technology and state-of-the-art
mirror design, CTI FlexScan-3D 3-Axis Laser Processing Heads are the ultimate scanning solution for
complex Industrial Laser Processing Applications.
Available in Fiber (YAG), CO2, 532nm and 355nm configurations, the features and advantages of the
FlexScan-3D Technology covers a broad range of micro and macro laser material processing applications.
Standard mirror apertures currently include 20mm, 30mm and 50mm; combined with the 3rd axis Dynamic
Focusing Module(DFM) provide the option to choose the field size and the delivered spot size optimized for
the application. Cambridge Technology also offers a full line of controller and software products which
orchestrate any Cambridge Technology Scanning System with the laser of choice and create a complete
laser processing system.
