nnnn66BP
nnnnThe Model 66BP Stainless Steel
nnnnRegulator is designed for corrosive
nnnnenvironments and high temperatures.
nnnnFeatures
nnnn• Control sensitivity to 1" water column allows
nnnnuse in precision applications.
nnnn• Large Control Diaphragm area for
nnnnincreased sensitivity.
nnnn• Fluorocarbon Elastomers are compatible
nnnnwith corrosive materials and environments.
nnnn•Valve Damper eliminates hunting and
nnnnbuzzing.
nnnn• Line or Panel Mounting provides flexibility
nnnnfor installation.
nnnnOperating Principles
nnnnWhen you adjust the Range Screw to a
nnnnspecific setpoint, the Range Spring exerts a
nnnndownward force against the top of the
nnnnControl Diaphragm. This downward force
nnnncloses the Relief Valve. When the force
nnnnfrom the system pressure that acts on the
nnnnbottom of the Control diaphragm is less
nnnnthan the force that acts on the top of the
nnnnControl Diaphragm, the Relief Valve
nnnnremains closed.
nnnnWhen the system pressure increases, the
nnnnforce that acts on the bottom of the Control
nnnnDiaphragm increases until it reaches the
nnnnsetpoint.
nnnnWhen the system pressure rises above the
nnnnsetpoint, the Diaphragm Assembly moves
nnnnupward lifting the Relief Valve from its seat
nnnnand vents the excess pressure from the
nnnnsystem. The relief valve closes as set
nnnnpoint is reached.
