Our expertise in power electronics and

very reliable, efficient, and measurable aircraft power
supply. GUINAULT-LEBRUN frequency converters
provide the power supply at the lowest cost for the
aircraft of today and tomorrow.
GUINAULT-LEBRUN offers two types of frequency
converters:
• SC20 Production of 28 VDC from a supply of 50
Hz/60 Hz, or even 400 Hz
• SA90 Production of 115/200 VAC SA90 / 400 Hz
from a supply 50 Hz/60 Hz
STURDY DESIGN: GUINAULT-LEBRUN Frequency
Converters are designed with an ultra corrosion
resistant galvanized chassis, designed for rough
conditions . The air inlet required to cool the converter
is located 40 cm from the ground to prevent
contamination from surrounding dust. The air exhaust
is positioned at the top of the converter to not only
allow the natural convection of heat but also to avoid
recycling the air inlet.

components in all situations: under bridges, trailers,

EASE OF USE: The Illustrated graphic control panel
allows intuitive access to the use and maintenance
functions. The system’s capacity for storage and
communication enable the diagnosis of any
malfunctioning converters or aircraft remotely,
through WEB type interfaces.
SIGNAL QUALITY: 12 PULSES Technology provides
a very low rate of re-injection of harmonics (< 9%).
Passive Filtration, chosen for its strength, limits the
harmonic amount at output to only 2%.
ADAPTED TO THE SPECIFICATIONS OF NEW
GENERATION
AIRCRAFT:
GUINAULT-LEBRUN
converters can provide continuous power of 90 KVA
pf = 1, i.e. 90 kW (pf: power factor), while traditional
converters on the market are designed with a power
factor of only 0.8 (i.e. 72 kW). GUINAULT-LEBRUN
converters are therefore 20% more powerful, and
adapted for the latest modern aircraft that have an
electrical demand of a continuous 90 kW
SUITABLE FOR THE BOEING B787 (current with
high magnetization).
LOW SOUND LEVEL: The air inlets and outlets are
optimized to minimize the noise of the converter.
