GENERALITA’

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

La serie TJDx rappresenta un’estensione della famiglia TJxx;
regolatori di temperatura e variabili lente (400mSec) in campo lineare.
In essa ha trovato concreta applicazione e realizzazione il know-how
che Thermosystems ha maturato in oltre 25 anni di presenza nel
settore strumentazione elettronica e regolazione industriale.
Particolare cura è stata posta nella scelta dei componenti impiegati
che fanno parte dello stato dell’arte della tecnologia elettronica attuale
e futura, tra cui spicca un microcontrollore Motorola della serie HC08
con tecnologia flash a bordo, componenti SMD 0603, o 0805 ove
richiesta accentuata stabilità, e tipologia di montaggio SMT.
Un occhio di riguardo poi a consumi che senza penalizzare in alcun
modo la luminosità/visibilità dei display risultano decisamente bassi.
Tutto ciò ha permesso di ridurre al minimo le dimensioni degli
apparecchi che sono estremamente contenute.
Innovazione e creatività sono state dedicate sia all’interfaccia
uomo/macchina, per semplificare al massimo le operazioni di
interpretazione e di immissione dati, sia all’ergonomia ed all’aspetto
estetico, nel desiderio di proporre dispositivi tecnologicamente evoluti,
funzionali, affidabili; visivamente e operativamente gradevoli.
L’aspetto costi/prestazioni risulta eccezionalmente vantaggioso.
Sono completamente configurabili da frontale e offrono un’ampia
scelta di parametri, organizzati in tre (3) loop distinti, che l’utilizzatore
può liberamente adattare per ottenere i migliori risultati operativi.

The TJDx series is an extension of TJxx series; a complete group of
controllers for temperature and slow (400 mSecs) linear variables.
The know-how, that Thermosystems has completed during over 25
years of presence in the electronic instruments and industrial control
fields, finds a practical application in this series.
Particular care has been put in the choice of electronic components to
be used that are the state-of-the-art of the present and the future
electronic technology; among them a Motorola HC08 series microchip
with embedded flash technology, SMD 0603 components, or even 0805
when high stability is required, and SMT mounting typology.
Then, attention has been paid to power consumption that is very low
without decreasing in any way display’s brightness and visibility.
All these aspects together have small sized instruments as a result,
with an extremely reduced depth.
Innovation and creativity have been dedicated to the HMI (humanmachine interface) to simplify to the maximum interpretation and
data-entry operations, and to ergonomics and the aesthetic aspect,
wishing to propose technologically advanced instruments, functional
and reliable; visually and operationally pleasant.
The price/performances ratio is exceptionally advantageous.
These instruments are fully set-up by the front panel and they offer a
wide range of parameters, subdivided into three different loops that
the user may freely modify to obtain the best operative results.

- Nel loop “Principale” troviamo il Set-Point Main ed il Set-Point Limit
per i quali è previsto un accesso facilitato immediato.

- In the “Main” loop we find the Main Set-point and the Limit Setpoint; an immediate assisted access is given to these parameters.

- Nel loop “Operatore”, in aggiunta ai classici ed indispensabili
P.b.(Proportional band), dt (derivative time), It (integral time), Ct
(cycle time), citiamo CF (scelta °C/° HC (scelta risc./raff.),
F),
Lo (limitazione minimo scala), Hi (limitazione massimo scala).
Logicamente è contemplato il funzionamento di tipo ON/OFF con la
possibilità di impostare separatamente isteresi superiore ed inferiore.
Sono previste 9 tipologie di funzione d'allarme, suddivise tra relativi
ed assoluti, diritti e negati.

- In the “Operator” loop, beyond the classical and essential
parameters like Pb (proportional band), dt (derivative time), It (integral
time), Ct (cycle time), we mention Cf (°
C/°F selection), HC (Heat/Cool
selection), Lo (min. range limitation) and Hi (max range limitation).
Obviously, the On-Off control is also included with the opportunity to
separately set upper and lower hysteresis.
There are nine alarm function types, subdivided into absolute and
relative, direct and reverse.

- Nel loop “Configurazione” ricordiamo dL (display min. scala lin.),
dH (display max scala lineare), dP (posizione decimal point scala lin.).
Gli strumenti della serie TJ possono facilmente interfacciarsi coi
normali trasduttori di temperatura industriali, quali termocoppie (J e K)
e termoresistenze (Pt100), con compensazione e linearizzazione
interna, e coi classici segnali da campo quali tensione (mV - V) e
corrente (mA). [disponibile Vaux 12Vdc per alim. trasduttori ecc.]
La funzione ‘OF’ (offset) permette di compensare facilmente eventuali
imprecisioni di misura o l’allineamento manuale a valori desiderati.
La presenza di chiave ‘KL’ basata su quattro livelli permette la
protezione definita e precisa di determinate funzioni al fine di
preservare l’apparecchio da impostazioni errate o manomissioni.
La funzione ‘AS’ (Anti Reset Window) migliora notevolmente l’impiego
dell’azione integrale, limitandone gli svantaggi ed esaltandone i pregi.

- In the “Configuration” loop we remember dL and dH (min. and
maximum visualization), dP (decimal point position) for linear ranges.
The TJ series instruments are easily able to interface with usual
industrial temperature transducers like thermocouples (J and K) and
RTD (Pt100), with internal linearization and compensation, and
with standard field signals like dc voltage (mV and V) and dc current
(mA).
The ‘OF’ function (offset) allows to compensate easily possible
measurement errors or to align instrument to required values.
The presence of a four levels lock ‘KL’ allows to give definite and
precise protection to some functions in order to preserve the
instrument from wrong setting or tampering.
The ‘AS’ function (Anti Reset Window) improves the integral action
use, restricting its disadvantages while enhancing the good qualities.

Un ausilio nella definizione dei migliori parametri di regolazione è
rappresentato dalla disponibilità della funzione ’SELF TUNING’.
La gestione degli errori è manifesta con segnalazione all’operatore.
Le possibilità di alimentazione previste soddisfano qualsiasi esigenza.
L’offerta di uscite disponibili (MAIN, LIMIT I, LIMIT II) e le relative
tipologie (relè, statica, continua mA, continua V) permettono di far
fronte con successo alle richieste più disparate.
Cura ed attenzione alle problematiche relative alla sicurezza
operativa, alle caratteristiche ambientali ed alla compatibilità
elettromagnetica (CE) hanno caratterizzato le fasi di progettazione,
sviluppo ed ingegnerizzazione ed interessano molti aspetti produttivi.
L’impiego di questi apparecchi non mancherà di soddisfare
l’utilizzatore professionale, il tecnico esigente, l’operatore attento.

A help to the search for the best controlling parameters is given
through the availability of ‘SELF TUNING’ function.
The error messages are shown to the operator directly on the display.
A wide selection of power supplies and the available outputs (MAIN,
LIMIT I, LIMIT II) together with their different types (relay, logical,
continuous mA, continuous V), allow to meet all possible
requirements.
Care and attention to operative safety, environmental features and
electromagnetic compatibility (CE) have characterised the design,
development and engineering processes and they also concern many
manufacturing aspects.
The use of these instruments will surely satisfy the professional user,
the exigent technician and the careful operator.
