Functions
RobSOGPAT finds known characteristic points like
marks, symbols or edges on surfaces and measures the
coordinates automatically and contact-free.
The coordinates of the found points are combined in
several ways, and permits a variety of applications.
It allows the position detection of a test device, the
generation of measuring points and trajectories, as
well as coordinate measuring of points along
trajectories. Additionally special measuring positions
defined in CAD object coordinates will be found on
the real object surfaces automatically.

Applications
• Automated generation of positions for haptic
measurements:
- Press positions above buttons
- Orientation perpendicular to press surface
• Profile measurement of cockpit surfaces,
stressed or unstressed
• Generation of positions for seat pressure
distribution measurement:
- distribution over the whole seat
- inset on certain manually marked positions
• Tracking of points along a seam, and validate the
coordinates
