• For mounting on sightglass fittings:
The product is an universally applicable sightglass luminaire
ideally suited of use on combined sight/lightglass (single flanged
port arrangement) or separate flanged ports.
Also supplyable as Ex-version; see data sheet 07.25.
• Compact, high light output:
Dazzle free illumination; suits circular sightglass fittings to
DIN 28120/DIN 28121 or similar as well as screwed sightglass
assemblies similar to DIN 11851 and flow indicators.
Sizes, depending on style, from DN 25 and larger.
• Large light aperture thanks to screwed lens ring design
• Applications:
Particularly suited for use in pharmaceutical and food processing
operations; for the illumination of flow indicators, pipelines,
laboratory mixers, bioreactors as well as the internals of tanks,
pressure vessels, stirred reactors and similar normally sealed
process vessels in non explosion hazardous areas.
• Particularly suitable for use in sterile areas
• Protection:
Dust and waterjet tight IP 65 to EN 60529/DIN VDE 0470 part 1
• Operating conditions: Independent of vessel internal pressure/
vaccum. On no account may the luminaire be used as a closure/
means of sealing of a (pressure) vessel i. e. without a suitable
sightglass fitting.
• Maximum ambient temperature at the cable gland: 80° C
NB: At ambient temperatures > 40° C high temperature cable
must be used e. g. Sinotherm 110 H05GG-F 3G 1,5 mm2.
• Simple mounting by means of special bracket provides
practical installation: With circular sightglass fittings and with
flow indicators the luminaire is mounted on the cover flange
using the hinged bracket. With screwed sightglass fittings the
luminaire is secured to the slotted cover nut.
The Lumiglas luminaire ESL25 suits the following fitting
sizes or larger:
a) circular sightglass style DIN 28120: DN 25…
b) circular sightglass style DIN 28121: DN 40…
c ) flow indicators: DN 50
d) screwed sightglass style DIN 11851:
- DN 65 using the separate flange adapter collar
- from DN 80 using the hinged bracket
• For sterile area applications a version of the luminaire is available
with sleeve to fit over a raised lip machined into the cover flange.
