SILOXA activated carbon adsorber, MAKA model (mobile activated
carbon adsorber) for reducing hydrogen sulphide (H2S) in biogas plants
Options
Gas heating
– Tube bundle heat exchanger in anged design
– Material No.: 1,4571 on tube (gas) side, carbon
steel-coated on shell side
– Max. permissible operating pressure: tube side approx. 0.5 bar, shell side approx. 6 bar
– 1 thermostat valve in the hot water circuit with capillary
sensor for regulating the gas outlet temperature
– Heating water ow temperature > 70 °C, provided
by the customer

insulation

– Connecting piece with ball valve for inertisation and
taking gas samples

Attributes
– The activated carbon adsorber with the used activated carbon is replaced by a reconditioned activated
carbon adsorber (deposit system).
– System is fully electrostatically dissipative
– Low maintenance
– When operated correctly, the H 2S content of the gas
is ≤ 1 ppm .

(required if the gas contains less than 0.5 % O2
by volume).
