Cylinders

Bartlett-Snow is the source for replacement cylinders fabricated
from basic carbon steel through exotic high temperature and
corrosion resistant alloys. The cylinders can be manufactured by
use of rolled plate, molds for centrifugal and static castings, or
dies for hot isostatically pressed extrusions.

Riding Rings

Riding ring replacements of forged high carbon steel alloy are
provided with straight or taper sided configurations. At the time
of riding ring replacement, it is also recommended that
mounting hardware, consisting of the wedge, pads, or chairs
be replaced in order to ensure the riding rings are properly
mounted and run true with respect to each other.

Trunnion Rolls, Shafts and Bearings

Replacement trunnion rolls are manufactured from forged high
carbon steel alloys with heat treated tread surfaces. Trunnion
roll and shaft assemblies can be provided with flanges for units
not featuring thrust rolls.

Thrust Rolls, Shafts and Bearings

Replacement straight or tapered sided thrust rolls are
supplied in forged high carbon steel alloys with heat treated
tread surfaces. The thrust rolls can be provided for units
requiring either roller bearings or bronze bushings.

Girt Gears, Girt Sprockets and Pinions

Girt gear replacements are provided in forged or cast iron high
carbon steel alloys, one piece or split, with surface or through
hardening as required. The drive pinion should also be changed
to provide for proper meshing between the girt gear and pinion.
For chain drive units, girt sprockets are manufactured from
carbon steel plate and in split construction.
