The P991 test block, designed within the

MiCOM ALSTOM range, offers safe and

nnnn

configurable facilities for monitoring and

nnnn

secondary injection testing in any power

nnnn

system protection scheme when used with

nnnn

the P992 multi-finger test plug.

nnnn

The P991 test block carries a maximum of

nnnn

14 circuits, each of which is factory

nnnn

configurable to the customer's

nnnn

requirements. Each circuit is brought out to

nnnn

separate pairs of 4 mm screw terminations

nnnn

at the rear of the test block.

nnnn

A single-finger test plug is also available,

nnnn

type P993, providing a safe and isolated

nnnn

means solely for the verification of CT

nnnn

circuits.

nnnn

The P991 test block features visible

nnnn

automatic line CT shorting, prior to the relay

nnnn

CT circuit being broken on insertion of a

nnnn

P992 multi-finger test plug. Up to three

nnnn

stages of sequential contact operation are

nnnn

provided by the P991 test plug. To avoid

nnnn

accidental tripping, an extraction stop

nnnn

facility is included.
