nnnnRemoving Iron and Manganese from Ground Water
nnnnPall systems with Microza modules remove oxidized Iron (Fe)and Manganese (Mn)frcm well water. These
nnnncontaminants, left untreated, can produce red and black staining on bathroom fixtures and clothes. In
nnnntreatment, Fe and Mn are first oxidized into pin-floc sized particles by oxidants such as oxygen, chlorine and
nnnnpotassium permanganate. Pall membrane filters then remove the metal oxide particulate from the ground
nnnnwater to provide worry free water for drinking and household use.
